The French Ambassador to Albania, Christine Vasak, said from Korca that the judicial reform is following its progress, and it will affect the highest level of the system.
The Constitutional Court should be made functional the soonest possible, and the entire political class knows this, according to the Ambassador.
“The European Council made a recommendation on June 26th and the perspective of the negotiations should become a reality next June. This suggests that the reforms should continue and the judicial reform should be concluded. The magistrate school, which we supported from the beginning, should start operating. We believe that a well-formed magistrate school, courageous and which acts based on the law. This is supposed to fight corruption and organized crime. The road is clear and they should work for realizing the reforms”, the Ambassador declared.
