The Albanian Prime Minister, Edi Rama, held a meeting at the Prime
Minister’s office which focused on the new pension scheme and the matter
of unpaid social insurance.
Rama warned that all private institutions that have lied with the social insurance by not paing for their employees, will answer to justice for this violation.
According to Rama, this corruptive scheme is a serious economic crime, which comes as result of a bad governing in the past and that has endangered the entire financial system.
“This act doesn’t threaten only the pension of these deceived people, but also our financial system. All contributions of defrauded people will return to their place”, Rama declared.
The Prime Minister promised that the reform pension, which, he says, is delayed but courageous, will end this defraud once and for all.
