Ben Blushi, former Socialist Party MP, now leader and founder of the
LIBRA party, accused the government of using the fiscal amnesty for
electoral purposes.

“The government is deleting the debts of companies such as Bankers, before the electoral campaign. Tax offices are now earning the right to decide who they will pardon and who not”, Blushi said, adding that will this law government officials will delete debts of only their voters.

“They are favoring 300 people by damaging 3 million others”, Blushi said.

The former Socialist MP mentioned the honoring of PM Rama in France with the Legion of Honor title. “France decorated Rama as an immigrant. Here he is part of the legion of shame, together with Mark Frroku, Arben Ndoka, Elvis Rroshi and others”, Blushi said.

Foreign Minister Ditmir Bushati responded to this declaration, and advised his former colleague to be careful when addressing to Albania’s strategic partners: “. France is a Security Council Member, a nuclear superpower that has helped liberating Kosovo from the Serb genocide. We must be careful with our strategic partners, because we are not hired by tent”, Bushati said, referring to the tent raised in protest in front of Prime Minister’s Office by the opposition leader.
