The streets of the Albanian capital Tirana were adorned today with national flags and American flags in anticipation of the historic visit of the 42nd President of the United States, Bill Clinton.
The former American President arrives in the afternoon. According to the agenda, at 7:00 p.m., Clinton will be welcomed by Prime Minister Edi Rama in a special ceremony on “Dëshmorët e Kombit” Boulevard in front of the Prime Minister’s Office, with the participation of citizens.
From the images it can be seen how the streets of the Boulevard “Dëshmorët e Kombit” are filled with American and Albanian flags, while a large banner with Clinton’s photo and the inscription “Welcome Mr. President!” it is hung on the facade of the Polytechnic University building.
Likewise, the main streets where he will pass and the escort that will accompany Clinton are decorated with the flags of the United States of America, which tomorrow also celebrates its Independence Day.
Municipality of Tirana will also organize a concert at 20:00, entitled “American Night” at the Amphitheater of the Artificial Lake Park.
