The former political prisoners who started a 24-hour hunger strike to
raise awareness among the government for their rights decided the
interrupt their strike only a few hours later, saying that it had been
politicized.
The cause of this decision was the fact that the Democratic Party Parliament Member, Mesila Doda, visited the strikers and declared that the Democratic Party supports them.
This brought a harsh reaction of the former political prisoners, who reminded the Democratic Party Parliament Member that they did nothing for them in the past eight years in power, and that Lirak Bejko died in a hunger strike one year ago, after setting himself to fire.
