A former Chief of Police, Dritan Lamaj, was executed today in Tirana at 18:30, while he was driving his car.
Lamaj was still alive when received the first aid. He was immediately sent to the Military Hospital, but was unable to survive the wounds.
Dozens of Police forces arrived on the scene and started the investigations.
For the moment there is no information about the motive of the attack, but it might be related with his duty. The former Chief of Police had conflicts with some businesses and has been publicly accused for his behaviour against them.
