The lawyers of Mark Frroku, a former MP accused of a committing the
murder of Aleksander Kurti in Belgium in 1999, asked the Court of Tirana
to suspend the arrest measure.
The Court accepted the to suspend the arrest measure of the Supreme Court, but also accpeted the request of the Tirana Prosecution for giving the same security measure.
Frroku’s case arrived at the Tirana Court from the Supreme Court, after the latter said it was not under its competence to remove the mandate of the MP.
Frroku is also accused of hiding assets and building illegal constructions. Another defendant for this murder is Kristian Marjani, who is still on the run.
