Shops, apartments, garages and land plots owned by former MP Mark Frroku
have been seized after a request of the Prosecution of Serious Crimes.
Seven apartments around Orikum, Vlore, Shengjin, Lezhe and Kashar, Tirane; two shops in Tirana, one 6000 square-meter land plot in Gryke Lume, Lezhe are among the properties that were seized.
Frroku is being investigated for premeditated murder, hiding assets, money laundering and illegal construction.
He is being tried in Albania for the murder of an Albanian citizen in Belgium, in 1999, allegedly for prostitution traffic conflicts.
The former MP has also been sentenced by the Court of Amsterdam with three years in prison in 2002 for drug traffic, with the fake name Piro Sofrani.
As Parliament of Albania, Mark Frroku has declared the above-mentioned properties. Financial experts concluded that these assets were not justified with his financial sources.
