Former Interior Minister: “New, decisive evidence for my case”

Albania’s former Interior Minister, Saimir Tahiri, declared that he filed new evidence at the Prosecution, which he considers decisive for his trial.

The former Minister was accompanied by his lawyer, Maks Haxhia, but it is still unknown what evidence he was referring to.

The Court of Serious Crimes have postponed the investigations for Tahiri until the next months. When asked by journalists if he will be taken as a defendant, Tahiri simply said that he “is not afraid”.
