After clarifying his position in Parliament, the former Interior Minister, Saimir Tahiri, has left politics and the public’s eye. The only ones who recall his name are the Democratic Party members. Alibeaj asked once again his arrest.
Since October 25th, 2017, when the Parliament refused to authorize the Prosecution to arrest the MP accused of being involved in the drug traffic, he has not been present in commissions or plenary sessions.
Tahiri has stayed away of public attention, while he was stripped off all duties at the Socialist Party.
It is said that Tahiri has spent these days with his friends, his advisers and law experts, while Democratic Party members keep recalling his name in parliamentary sessions.
