The Albanian former Interior Minister, Saimir Tahiri, is trying once again to regain his freedom, after receiving house arrest.
Today, at the Court of Appeal, his lawyer demanded a change of his measure.
Before this session, the US Ambassador to Tirana, Donald Lu, said that there has been pressure for bribes towards the judges who are reviewing his case.
Donald Lu said that the court should decide based on evidence and laws, not on threats and money. He appeals the civilian society and media to watch the trial very closely.
