Former Interior Minister appeals “house arrest” order

23/05/2018 15:01

As warned, the Interior Minister, Saimir Tahiri, challenged the Court of First Instance verdict for house arrest.

His lawyer, Maks Haxhia, filed the request at the Court of Appeal for Serious Crimes.

Tahiri is accused of being involved with drug traffic and passive corruption. The session will be held Monday 28th.

Both parties have opposed the First Instance Court decision. Tahiri wants the “house arrest” removed, the Prosecution wants him in prison.
