Former head of Berzhite Commune arrested

Genc Drita, the former head of the Berzhita commune, has returned to prison after he was sentenced with 5 years and four months.

Drita was in house arrest while being investigated for passive corruption. The Court of Serious Crimes announce the final verdict on July.

Drita is accused of receiving 4500 EUR from a person for a permit.
