Former Deputy Minister of Interior, Elona Gjebrea, Socialist Party MP, denied having been summoned by the Prosecution of Serious Crimes regarding the Habilaj case. But she said she is ready to speak for the Prosecution whenever she is asked.
“First of all, use ethics and stop manipulating. You girl (to the journalist) are not a prosecutor to make those questions. I can go to the Prosecution if I am asked and I am very calm about it”, the Socialist MP declared.
The debates on this matter caused tension at the National Security Commission.
The Democratic Party Mp, Flamur Noka, said that the police had been captured by crime, drugs and Habilaj gangsters. “You must know this very well, as former Deputy Interior Minister”, Nokaj told Gjebrea, who has been Deputy Interior Minister for four years with the Rama government.
