Former Democratic Party MP runs for General Secretary of RCC

The former Democratic Party MP, Majlinda Bregu, will run for General Secretary of the Regional Council of Cooperation.

Bregu explained on social networks that this is a position that doesn’t depend from the Albanian government.

“The appointing of the General Secretary is a long process of voting and selections from various countries of Southeastern Europe, with the European Commission being the main partner. Certainly, the Albanian taxpayers will not pay a dime for it”, Bregu declared.
