Former Democratic Party MP arrested after blocking road with protesters

The former Democratic Party MP, Klevis Balliu, was arrested today by the Tirana Police.

A resident from the Unaza e Re, in Tirana, was also arrested.

Balliu and other protesters tried to block the main road, to stop Rama from visiting a factory in the area.

The Democratic Party condemned the clash between the police and protesting residents, calling it an illegal act of an illegal government.
