The former Director of CEZ Albania, Josef Hejsek, will be tried in
absence by Albanian courts for major fraud with serious consequences.
The Tirana Prosecution has failed to contact him for more than one year. Now he will be tried in absence.
The Czech Ministry of Justice has provided an address to the Albanian Prosecution, but since there is no extradition agreement between both countries, Hejsek will be tried in absence.
He is accused for a fraud involving 5 million EUR, together with the administrator of the DIA company, Kastriot Ismailaj.
