The Tirana Police and Prosecution came out with a press release regarding the persons who were arrested for the November 26th earthquake.
Prosecutor Elisabeta Imeraj declared that the Prosecution has several means to identify whether directors or contractors have respected construction rules.
They have also investigated the documents of several objects to verify whether there have been irregularities, and document forgery has topped the list of law violations.
The police arrested 31 persons so far, mostly former Commune leaders who approved the construction of residential buildings that went against the rules.
