Foreign Ministry drivers released by Greek police, arrested for transporting Albanian ABC books

Two drivers from the Foreign Ministry were arrested this morning by the
Greek Police, in Ioannina, because they were transporting books in
Albanian. They were now released.

The news was confirmed by the Foreign Ministry of Albanian. The Greek authorities had announced the arrest hours ago.

The drivers are identified as Altin Tafa and Agim Asllani, who were accused of distributing propaganda materials.

Local sources said for Top Channel that the materials were not stamped, and as result they were not considered as diplomatic materials. They also didn’t have any document from the Foreign Ministry, which is considered illegal.
