Foreign Minister meets minorities: “New law, better representation”

The Albanian Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs, Ditmir Bushati,
met with the Serbian-Montenegrin, Roma and Egyptian minorities in
Shkoder, presenting the new law for minorities.
“Minorities in Albania will have a better representation, which has not happened before. There are specific laws for promoting and guaranteeing the rights of minorities”, Bushati declared.
“There have been all kinds of opposition. Representatives of other ministries said they didn’t recognize the problematic”, said Pavlo Janko, Chairman of the Serbian-Montenegrin representation commission.
Mainly in Vraka, Malesi e Madhe, the Serbian-Montenegrin minority is the biggest for Shkoder.
