Foreign Minister Ditmir Bushati will attend an official visit to Athens
on March 2nd and 3rd, to meet his counterpart Nikos Kotzias, and discuss
a series of current matters.
Official sources said for Top Channel that the visit will focus on the results reached so far with the commissions that will correct school texts, consulate agreements, apostile stamp, the cemetery of Grek soldiers in Albania and preparation of the new friendship treaty between Albania and Greece, which has a deadline that expires by the end of this year.
Same sources say the officials will also discuss the normalization of bilateral relations. Athens seems to have been positive about Prime Minister Rama’s stance in Saranda two days ago, where he valued the role of the Greek minority in Albania, and guaranteed that the government would respect minority rights.
