The Albanian Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs, Ditmir Bushati, attended the meeting of NATO Foreign Ministers in Brussels.
The Ministers discussed important matters regarding trans-Atlantic security, including the complex relations with Russia, the strategic significance of the Middle East and Northern Africa, the current situation in Afghanistan and the open-door policy.
The NATO Foreign Ministers encouraged aspiring countries to continue their commitment in the Euro-Atlantic path and keep implementing the necessary reforms.
Minister Bushati confirmed Albania’s stance in support of the open door policy and the integrating perspectives of aspiring countries.
