For a Balkan that looks toward the future

After the nationalistic fever was lit once again in Balkan, after what
happened in the stadium of Belgrade,  the Serbian youth distances
themselves from the rhetoric that was unfolded on the football field,
and also from the declarations of their own politicians.

This was shown by a Serbian 16-year-old student in USA, who says that he belongs to another generation of Serbs, who are not nationalists and who think and hear things differently.

After the speech of Prime Minister Rama in the University of Harvard, Boston, the online newspaper of this university wrote an article titled “Albanian Prime Minister makes an appeal for a united Balkan”.

The article quotes the 16-year-old from Serbia, Rajko Radovanovic, who declared that he was happy to hear the comments of the Albanian Prime Minister after the last incident.

“Rama was able to go above what happened in that football match. I am happy with this approach, by not accusing anyone, because that’s what most of politicians in the region do”, Radovanovic declared.

This newspaper quoted Prime Minister Rama saying “it is up to the Balkan countries to progress and show that they are ready to become partners of the EU”.
