“Football for Friendship” is a project that will unite in Russia children from 211 countries of the world.
32 international teams with 12-year-old children had their lots cast in Moscow.
For the first time, Albania is part of this program. Every country has two children who participate, one as a football player and one as a journalist.
Albania is included in the team “Three-Toed Sloth”, together with Nigeria, Vietnam, Macau, San Marino and Gambia. Albania’s player will play in defence.
Being an ecological initiative, the 32 teams will be named after endangered animals.
“Football for Friendship” is a social international program implemented by Gazprom, FIFA official partners.
The purpose of this program is to include the younger generation in the world of promoting the most important human values.
