The Socialist Party leader for Tirana, Saimir Tahiri, based on the
investigation made by Top Channel’s program “Fiks Fare”, has filed a
criminal suit at the Tirana Prosecution against Gazmend Dibra, General
Director of Prisons and candidate for the Democratic Party.
Dibra is sued for paying and promising rewards, based on article 328 of the Criminal Code. The lawsuit says: “Based on the video made by the “Fiks Fare” journalists, Gazmend Dibra and three other unidentified people have violated article 328 of the Criminal Code. It is clear that a shop in Myslym Shyri was distributing food packages for Tirana voters in exchange of their vote for the Democratic Party”.
Mr.Dibra reacted yesterday, saying that he will report Mr.Tahiri at the Tirana Prosecution for slandering his name and authority.
“I’m obliged to ask the justice to find the truth”, Dibra declared.
