Food Authority: “Flour was clean, no bacteria found”

The Director of the Food and Veterinary Institution, Ardian Xinxo, said
that they have not found the Bacillus Subtilis bacteria in flour and
bread, which causes problems to clients.

After some concerns about the quality, the Food Authority asked microbiological analyzes for dozens of samples.

“We had 47 samples from Elbasan, Fier and Gjirokaster. You cannot say there’s no risk in any place, but based on the monitoring, the result is negative”, Xinxo declared.
