FM Bushati meets Secretary Tillerson

Foreign Affairs Minister Ditmir Bushati met with Secretary of State Rex Tillerson during this visit to Washington where he attended a meeting of FMs from the Global Anti-ISIS Coalition countries. During the meeting Minister Bushati said parties once again confirmed their cooperation in the operations to fight the Islamic State.

Previously Bushati attended a meeting with different American senators to confirm the Supporting Group for the Albanian affairs has reactivated. In the meeting Bushati talked with the co-chairmen of the group, Senators Gary Peters of Michigan and Joni Ernst from Iowa.

The group is consists of democrats and republican senators with the aim to support, promote and favoring dialogue in the Senate regarding Albania, Albanian-American community and Albanians in the Balkans.
