The Minister of Health Ogerta Manastirliu, accompanied by the Minister of Education Evis Kushi, closely followed the process of vaccination against influenza for teachers in the school ‘1 Qershori’ in Tirana, from where the process of vaccination has started all teachers.
Manastirliu has stated that capillary vaccination against influenza is continuing throughout the country for teachers and educators.
“The category of teachers and other educators is a priority for us. After kindergarten and nursery educators, we continue with capillary vaccination for teachers across the country. This important process for the protection of public health will continue throughout the month of December in the workplace through health centers, which have patronage respective areas where there are kindergartens, nurseries, schools”, said Manastirliu.
The Health Minister said that vaccination against influenza is also performed for other risk categories, while inviting citizens to appear at health centers to take the vaccine. “The whole month of December will be dedicated to the flu vaccination program and it is definitely a permanent invitation for all citizens, especially for those who are at risk groups, for grandparents, for those who have chronic diseases and of course for mothers, for a call for vaccination of children 0-5 years, “said Manastirliu.
