The Nenshkoder post offices have started the distribution of 18% of the compensation for the floods of 2010.
But according to the leaders of the Berdice and Ana e Malit commune, this is only a ridiculous payment. The Head of the Berdice Commune says that this payment is much smaller than the damage, and it has been given only for damages in agriculture, when there have been houses that went down. According to him, this is an electoral move.
The head of the Ana e Malit commune, Xhevat Mollza, says that this is only a trick that the residents have understood, because if it was real, the government would have paid them since 2011, and not one month before the elections.
“It is clear that there will be no other payment, otherwise they would have started it since 2011, not one month before the elections”, he declared.
