“Kosovo must remove the 100% tax on Serbian goods, but Serbia also shouldn’t keep blocking Kosovo in the international arena, despite the fact that they don’t support it as a country”, declared the German MP, Knut Fleckenstein.
In an exclusive interview for Deutsche Welle, the high-level official said that economic cooperation is vital for the region. Countries must find dialogue and give signals of peace and cooperation.
He admitted that Prishtina’s actions come as result of the disappointment caused by the Interpol rejection and the delayed visa liberalization process. However, Fleckenstein advises that such decisions should not be taken based on heated momental decisions.
