The Central Election Commission did not publish the preliminary results, as warned.
In a press release held after midnight, the Chairwoman of the Central Election Commission, Valdete Daka,d eclared that the reasoning for this is that the counting process is not over in all communes, and due to the total lack of data from the four communes in Northern Kosovo.
However, most of the Kosovo communes will continue with the second round, which will be on December 1st. As regards the percentages, the results are these: LDK is first in Prishtina, with 44%, and then comes the Self Determination Movement with 31.54%.
There are still 20 ballot centers that have not been counted in Prishtina, and chances are that there will be runoffs in the Kosovo capital.
Communes in which there is expected a power rotation are Gjakova, with the AAK candidate having less votes than Mimoza Kusari Lila of the AKR. In Gjilan there appears to be a deep victory of the LDK against Prime Minister’s thaci PDK.
The LDK is leading in Peja with Gazmend Muhaxhiri, with the AAK candidate. Ali Berisha, coming next to him. The PDK has more votes in Prizren and Mitrovica.
As for the southern communes, there is a sudden increase of the Serbian List, who support the Serbian government.
For the communes of Sebian Majority in Norther, not only there is no result, but there’s also a small participation in votes.
The Central Election Commission declared that they haven’t been able to have a percentage, after they cut communications with the Northern Commissions due to the security conditions.
