After the long silence in the Democratic Party headquarters, the vice
leader Jozefina Topalli has broken the ice and thanked on facebook every
Democratic Party supporter, but she didn’t mention the loss.
“Gratitude and many thanks to all Democratic Party supporters, members and militants for the dedication and absolute responsibility through which you defended our alternative and vote”, Topalli writes.
The Integration Minister, Majlinda Bregu, also reacted with a message on Facebook.
“I feel proud for our joint efforts, for the determination and wonderful campaign that we had together. I am proud that we are the political force that will Sali Berisha removed Albania from dictatorship and brought it to free elections, that we enabled Albania to enter NATO, and tomorrow in the European Union, a path that was guaranteed by the standard of these electios”, she declared.
The Fier Parliament Member Mesila Dode appealed the Democratic Party supporters on Facebook to reflect. She considered this as the most difficult moment since 1997.
