The first newborn in Tirana is Noel, who came to life through natural procedures and enjoys full health, at a weight of 3.9 kg.
The Health Minister, Ilir Beqja, visited the lucky couple and thanked everyone who worked at the hospital on that celebration night.
A few minutes later, at Tirana’s second public maternity hospital was born Enxhi, the second daughter of a family but the first newborn girl of 2014. The first three newborn babies of this hospital were all girls, making it equal with the other public hospital, where the first three babies were boys.
The Health Minister declared that this is an important year for the novelties that the public health service brings for the Albanian citizens.
