The amends of the Criminal Code as regards the organization of courts
and prosecutions will enter in effect tomorrow, August 1st.
All investigations held by the Prosecution will now need approval from courts beforehands.
In simple terms, the Prosecution cannot suspend an investigation, change charges, delay investigation periods or expertise tests, without a court approval.
For this reason, Courts will have to divide their judges. Some will be appointed for preliminary investigations, and others the basic case.
This will require a higher number of judges, especially for the preliminary sessions. The role of the Prosecution leaders, at this point, takes a more administrative nature since every competence goes to courts first.
