The first female General in the history of the Albanian Armed Forces,
Manushaqe Shehu, was appointed as the head of the Command of Doctrine
and Training.
This is the first time that a woman takes this command, besides being the first woman General in Albania.
General Shehu is replacing Dede Prenga, who has been appointed Deputy Chief of General Staff of the Armed Forces.
The Doctrine and Training Command operates on three main pillars, education, training and processing of a military doctrine opinion, based on the unified education concepts of NATO countries.
