Elementary and high schools opened the new academic year for hundreds of
thousands of students, but the mostly thrilled were those kids who had
their first day at school.
Some high schools have started differently.
The Petro Nini Luarasi students say that most of the textbooks are not ready yet, although the Ministry of Education warned the publisher that their books would be replaced with other alternatives if they would not be ready within the deadline.
The first day of school in Tirana followed with an extremely heavy traffic.
