Fires, Olli: Situation under control

The Director of Civil Emergencies, Alfred Olli declared that the
situation is under control, although there are still some smaller fires
around the country. He underlined that the situation was taken under
control thanks to the help of the friendly countries.
“Yesterday we had 12 active fire sources in the Poro pine Forest. There are other fires in Korce and Kukes, and 2-3 smaller in Mirdite. Based on the agreements with the homologue services in Italy, Turkey and Montenegro, we were able to receive help with airplanes. Yesterday’s fires have all been put out”, Olli declared.
