Fines for poaching in Vlore

Besides the deforestation, the protected Karaburun peninsula is also suffering poaching.
Forest Directory Representatives say that they have identified some cases in which the poachers have been fined, although they were members of hunting associations.
The Legal Adviser of the Forest Directory in Vlore, Stela Metaj, says that the poachers were fined with 800.000 ALL.
One day ago, Top Channel broadcasted images of trees that had been just cut in Karaburun, and the Forest Directory has started an inspection on terrain.
The trees that are being cut are part of a protected area, and the abusers have to pass through a road that is under the control of the Pashalimani Marine.
