After the physical clash at 14:00, the two involved Parliament Members
continued in distance with accusations against each other. The
Democratic Party Parliament Member, Gent Strazmiri, declared on Facebook
that the situation didn’t catch him unprepared, since he has had other
provocations from the Socialist Parliament Members on April 9th,
especially by Armand Prenga. He accused the Socialist MP of Lezha as a
person that has been sentenced in Italy for breaking into houses, for
drugs and prostitution”.

“The attack against me adds to our determination to not let this country to the drug traffickers. They cannot be the educating model of our children”, the Democratic Party Parliament Member declared.

The Socialist Armand Prenga declared for Top Channel in a phone interview that if Strazimiri has evidence about these accusations, he is ready to resign from his post. Prenga says that the accusations of the Democratic MP are slander, for which he will sue him.

As for the  altercation, Prenga said that he simply intervened when he saw Strazimiri physically attacking the Socialist Parliament Members, Qefalia and Bejko.

The other Socialist MP, says that he has always had correct relations with Strazimiri and has never had a conflict with him.

“I simply asked him why he had mentioned my name and that of my colleague, Lutaj, since we were not present. He went out of control by insulting and raising his voice, which attracted the attention of other people”, Qefalia declared.

“We are Parliament Members and we are not in the Parliament to insult each other, as it has happened recently”, says the Socialist Parliament Member through a message for Top Channel.
