Fier oil refinery workers protest, threaten with suicide

A Fier oil refinery workers threatened to commit suicide if he and his
colleagues don’t receive the four unpaid monthly salaries.

Agim Myrdini, 59, was protesting together with 150 other workers this morning.

The desperate man took a petrol bottle and climbed a 40-meter-long chmney, where he stood for three hours, demanding negotiations with the firm’s representative, who had promised to pay them.

This is the third time that the Fier oil refinery workers protest for the same reason.
