The Mayor of Fier, Baftjar Zeqaj, declared that he will not run for a forth mandate in his city.
After signing a cooperation agreement with the Mayor of Ioannina, Zeqaj answered to the question if he will resign in June.
The Mayor of Fier explains that he will not resign now, but he will not even run again.
After the resignation of the Mayor of Pogradec, there were voices that the Mayor of Fier would make a similar move and run as independent in the local elections.
