The tragedy with the burning ferry took place in Albanian waters. One of
the ferry’s rescue boats went out of control and was pushed by the wind
and the waves to the Seman coastline of Fier, Albania.
The ferry can be seen from the coastline with the helicopters that continue the rescue operations. The rescue boats might have been thrown on sea by another ferry that was sent for help.
Today could be seen from iour coast how the ship was making circles out of control, and dozens of other ships and helicopters were trying to evacuate the people. Another lost rescue boat could be seen from the coast.
The Durres Port was notified at 14:30 that all the passengers were saved. Other rescue boats are still looking for the lost passengers.
