Eight years after being found not guilty, Damir Fazlic is being accused
by the Tirana Tax Office regarding a company established in 2005,
accused of causing a 2 million EUR damage through a fictive
reimbursement scheme.

The report casts doubts that the scheme used in 2011 and has involved several Tax Office employees, who are accused with power abuse and forging documents.

The name of Damir Fazlic has been mentioned several times by the Socialist opposition for illegal privatizations, which led the Prosecution to start an investigation.

Although the Prosecution claimed that Fazlic had made 1.7 million EUR of profits through a company registered at the Court, the company was suspected of not having made any operation in Albania. However, Fazlic was found not guilty after the Court ruled that he had not committed any criminal act in Albania.
