Father kills teen daughter then self

The tragedy took place in Arre, one of the deepest areas of the Themal Commune, in Dukagjin, Shkoder District.

The Police announced that the 45-year-old Mirash Bregu had killed his teen daughter, Marjana Bregu, and then shot himself.

The tragedy was reported by the neighbors, while there is no information for the causes of this crime.

Police says that because of the remote area, they had difficulties to arrive on the scene.

Our country has been shocked by a wave of horrible crimes in the recent days, mostly based on domestic tragedies that have not spared children.

Another shocking crime took place in Fier, where the superintendent of an apartment building was killed while answering his door and his wife was severely wounded by a man who refused to pay the elevator maintenance fee.

Besides this wave of criminality, the institutions have not reacted about this phenomenon that comes as result of the state indifference and other social and economic conditions.
