For the senior citizen, Tafil Leak, in Lekaj village, Lushnje, extreme
poverty is nothing compared to the disgrace that he recently came to
know.
His 46-year-old son, Bashkim Leka, is suspected of having sexually abused with his 13-year-old daughter, who might have also been abused by three other young males in the village.
The girl was abandoned by her mother since she was three months, and in the past four months she has suffered sexual abuses. She decided to tell everything to his grandfather, revealing this way a horrible story.
“This is the worst day of my life. If he returns here, the girl and I are dead. He must not come out of prison”, Leka declared.
While the girl has only reported her father initially, during a session with the psychologist she has given the names of three other people, who could end up in prison for seven to 15 years. The Lushnje police has also arrested Ardis Leka, 19, Bertol Leka, 25, and Fatjon Gashi, 23.
The minor pleads for her uncles to take her under custody, while the grandfather hopes to receive a shelter in the asylum.
“I’m scared of my father. He said that he will kill me if he comes out of prison. Two of the boys admitted what they did to me”, the 13-year-old says
