Civil Emergency says that 11 fires have started throughout Albania during the past 24 hours.
The situation is very problematic in Fier, Berat and Dibra, where 15 hectares of wild bushes were burned, together with 500 olive trees.
Due to the difficult terrain, firefighters have been unable to intervene in Dibra. Voluntaries keep working to ease the situation, but strong wings make it harder.
Since the weather will be extremely hot this period, authorities have called communities to be very careful, while District Prefects have established emergency headquarters to face the situations.
