24 kilograms of TNT and 100 detonators were seized this Thursday by the
Shkoder Police in a van. Martin Marvataj, the van driver, was taken
under custody.
Police say that the explosive was bought for a mining company in Fushe Arrez, at the Babasi company, whose license for trading explosives has been revoked.
According to the police, besides buying explosive from an unlicensed company, the transportation was not respecting the security norms.
The Criminal Police and the Anti-Terror officers are investigating if this explosive was being sent to criminals.
