Explosive at high-tension power line could have damaged half of Albania’s electricity supply

A considerable amount of explosive was placed today at the feet of a high power electricity pole in Fushe Kruja.

The Special Unit of the Transmission System Operator intervened to avoid the falling of this pole, which would have severe consequences in the electricity supply.

The electricity fluxes in this power line is currently 50% of the total consumption.

The justice authorities are working to find the authors and bring them to justice.
