There’s no rest for the Bulqize miners. A grave accident has taken place
this Tuesday morning, which left one miner dead and wounded 9 others,
while they were working at the 16th level. It is suspected that the
cause was a gas explosion at the gallery they were working in.
Latest information suggest that the miner that passed away is the 39-year-old Naim Shyti. The wounded miners are in serious conditions for their life.
The emergency units have arrived on the site and are transporting the wounded miners to the hospital, while waiting a helicopter from Tirana to give them a more specialized treatment in the capital.
There are still no other details about this tragic event.
