Expenses, 1 billion USD less

According to “Shqip” newspaper, these data show that the public administration has failed in all directions, because it has not been able to realize even the plan of July, which was reduced after the Ministry of Finances admitted that the country was undergoing a crisis and that the tax and custom offices had difficulties to realize the objective of the first period of the year, which was 361 billion ALL.

The new budget plan lowered the objective bar to 334 billion ALL, 27 billion less, enabling tax and customs offices to achieve the plan.

But official data certified by the Finance Ministry show that the administration has not been able to achieve even this plan, creating a deficit of 60 billion ALL, almost 700 million USD.

By the end of the year, the administration realized 273 ALL billion in revenues, or 18% less than the objective.

If we compare it with the initial budget, the difference is 1 billion dollars, a new negative record.

Despite the fact that the government increased some taxes, these deficit came as result of the business crisis in the country and consumers’ insecurity.

On the other hand, the government undertook extreme cuts to the budged, around 40 billion ALL, damaging mostly investments and construction businesses.

Same as with the revenues, the objective for the expenses could not be realized.

The final data show that the expenses were 100 billion ALL less than the initial budget, or more than 1.1 billion dollars. And with the plan reviewed in July, this deficit is 70 billion ALL.
